Sustainable living is important because it keeps the environment we live in safer and more comfortable, and allows all of us to have enough resources that we need.

In the long-run, it also benefits our finances and our overall happiness.

Here are a few tips to start a sustainable lifestyle:

  1. Dry your laundry on a line instead of in a dryer.
  2. Unplug your smart-devices once the purpose is served.
  3. Cook at home more often.
  4. Use your heating and air-conditioning selectively.
  5. Buy seasonal foods.
  6. Use a reusable bags.
  7. Shop for organic produce.
  8. Buy in bulk whenever possible.
  9. Participate in the development and use of public spaces (parks/gardens).
  10. Use public transport more often.
  11. Educate and bring awareness among the public.
